THE PROCESS

The Accessibility with Moxie Foundation will study your issues, act as a sounding board, assist with accessibility audits, and provide objective feedback.  We can provide everything from an ad hoc advisory committee to creating a unique team that will focus exclusively on your solution.

THE RESULTS

We provide written reports, conduct seminars, deliver training and set priorities to systematically and objectively guide your business on how to economically remove barriers to access.  We can show you how improving access improves your bottom line.

Enabling Change Partnership Program -

Accessibility with Moxie Foundation in partnership with the Ministry of Community and Social Services is delivering a seminar on the Customer Service Standard which became law in 2008 under the  AODA. This one hour seminar is targeting small/medium size retail businesses and the hospitality sectors which must comply by 2012.  Moxie delivers presentations to Chambers of Commerce and BIA (Business Improvement Areas) members . . . . find out more by clicking here

Training Needs Identification Project –

Accessibility with Moxie Foundation was retained by the City of Ottawa to conduct a Corporate Training Needs Identification for Disability and Inclusion project.   Moxie conducted four focus groups with city staff and citizens from a cross section of the disabled community.  We developed and applied a survey that quantified the levels of service satisfaction and the importance of several City of Ottawa services.  Our study identified the need for knowledge, skill and awareness training for City front line staff.
